English Confession

Hey there!...
As all of those who know me already know, I love english... I can't explain it though, I just like it... As such, I thought maybe it is time for me to make a post on that...
I'm aware that not everybody understands what I've written, so I'll speak for those who do:
Since I've developed a certain need to express my feelings, that english has been my favorite language to do so... Why? As I said, I don't know... Maybe because I'm used to hear english music and associated deep comunication with the language, but I just can't tell... But those who know me can assure you that I allways rathered to express myself in english, and for a matter a fact, I've allways done it better that way.
But there's another reason for me to do such thing: hiding...
Have you ever noticed that noone takes english quotes seriously?? I mean, when a fellow of yours breaks up with his girlfriend, and he types in his nickname "broken hearted", who cares?? Everybody thinks he just heard it somewhere, or that's the name of a song, or that he just felt like writing it!! But if, the same guy, in the same situation writes "profundamente magoado", tons of friendly messages are sent to him, asking what happened, and if there's something that can be done... Why?? I mean, do I allways have to write in portuguese when I want to be heard, noticed, mind eased?? It shouldn't be... But it is...
Therefore, and as I allways wanted to keep my pain for myself and pretend everything was fine when it wasn't, I've allways written in english... So that I could feel better writing down my problems, without being asked why, and if I needed any help... even if I DID need help...
So next time someone writes something in english, you might want think about it twice, and ask yourself if there is some feeling\problem\whatever envolved...
Stay Cool [[[]]] ****
P.S. this post is dedicated to the great dudes Xiko and Xin, and to the girls Jo who I've allways had nice talks, and *Iluna*...

Well, I'm stunned!!! Really...I agree with everything that you wrote, it's the truth... Why the most part of people who I knew don't care when we decided to express our feelings in ENGLISH?! I had never thougth seriously about this before but now, makes sense, to be heard we "must" talk/write in portuguese, WHY?! Does exist someone who make me understand??! Why anyone seems worried when they read a sad sentence wrotten in ENGLISH?! It change the signify??! It's "tristeza" more important than "sadness"??! It "profundamente magoado" more important than "broken hearted"...??! So, unless someone explain me, I couldn't understand...!!!
You are a BRILLIANT writer!!! So, I guess you have the strength to go on!!! It seems like your inspiration comes of your inner, your own WORLD...!!!
=)
